This is where I will place all the gems I have discovered during my research on the William Frothingham that don't fit nicely anywhere else. If it pans out as an authentic manuscript, the first thing I will place here will be a copy of the log of William I.S. Mackay's journey from New York City to Port Philip, Australia aboard the William Frothingham. The log commences on the 28th of August, 1852 and ends mid-sentence on the 1st of October, on which day the ship crossed the equator.
